The Challenge and Research

A clinic is a busy place with many moving parts. Patients arrive and wait. Doctors run from room to room. The reception desk handles bookings, payments, and questions all at once. The admin team tries to keep the whole place in order. Our client, OPDQ, wanted to bring all of this into one connected system.

The hard part was that each group needs something different. A patient wants an easy way to book and know their turn. A doctor wants a clear view of their day and their patients. The reception staff need quick tools to check people in and take payments. The admin team needs to see and control everything from one place. Building one app could never serve all of these needs well.

We spent time understanding how a clinic truly works, from the moment a patient books to the moment they leave. We mapped every role and every step. We saw that the answer was not one app, but a set of products that each fit a role, while all speaking to each other as one.

The Solution & Execution

We built a full suite of products from scratch, each made for a clear role in the clinic.

Patients get an app to book and follow their visit. Doctors get an app to manage their day and their patients. The reception team gets an app to handle check-ins, along with a handheld POS device to take payments on the spot. A TV app shows the live appointment queue, so patients always know whose turn it is. And the hospital and clinic admin staff get a console to see and control the whole operation from one place.

The real strength is how these pieces work together. A booking made by a patient flows to the doctor, the reception, and the queue screen without any extra effort. Everyone sees the same true picture at the same time. The waiting feels shorter, the staff feel calmer, and the clinic runs in a smooth and orderly way.

Final Outcome

What was once a set of separate tasks is now one connected system that manages the full doctor and patient experience.

We did not just need an app, we needed our whole clinic to work as one. BrainBox understood that from the start.
