The Challenge & Research
Gets Energy faced significant operational bottlenecks when conducting site assessments. The existing workflow involved using a bulky 20-page paper form on-site, manually filling it out, and then re-entering all the data back at the office. This process, as described by the client, caused severe delays, relied heavily on manual work, and drastically increased the chances of making mistakes—ultimately hindering efficiency and data accuracy.
BrainBox Apps began by taking the time to truly understand their field business processes. Our strategic research focused on auditing the workflow and identifying every point of friction. The key insight was the need for an offline-first mobile application that would allow technicians to complete complex assessments once, directly at the site, thereby eliminating the manual data entry phase entirely.
The Solution & Execution
Our solution was to transform the paper process into a sleek, custom-built Android tablet application. We designed and developed a robust mobile application that precisely covered all of Gets Energy's business needs.
