The Challenge & Research
Rentah, a dynamic peer-to-peer local marketplace, allows users to rent out or request nearly anything at flexible pricing. While the concept had high potential, the original application was struggling with usability and performance limitations. A lackluster interface and technical instability were hindering user engagement and preventing the platform from scaling its promising business model.
BrainBox Apps began with a comprehensive assessment of the existing platform. We focused on identifying key friction points in the user journey - from listing an item to finalizing a rental transaction. This research established a clear mandate: a complete, ground-up mobile application overhaul was necessary to enhance the user interface (UI) for optimal usability and solidify the underlying architecture for high performance.
